Athletics are an integral part of the total educational program and contribute substantially to the learning experience of all students. Through interscholastic athletics, an opportunity is provided for students to achieve beyond the normal physical education curriculum. Our program is tailored to provide meaningful learning experiences that fit harmoniously into the over-all educational program. We recognize that vigorous physical activity is vital to healthful living and participation in athletics should be founded on a clean and disciplined lifestyle. We endeavor to develop young athletes to the full extent of their capabilities.

Participation fees are charged by the Nordonia Hills Board of Education for all students participating in athletic programs.  The fees are non-refundable if an athlete quits, is injured or becomes academically ineligible during the season.  This fee does not guarantee playing time on any team.  Fees are set on an annual basis by the board and will be reviewed on a yearly basis.  Fees for the 2025-2026 school year are as follows:

$280.00 per High School Sport

$140.00 per Middle School Sport

$210.00 per High School Sport

$105.00 per Middle School Sport for reduced lunch students

$140.00 per High School Sport

$70.00 per Middle School Sport for the free lunch students

Cap of $700 per family

Fees must be paid prior to the start of each sports regular season contests.  Unpaid fees may result in denial of participation in all contests until payment is made.  Participation fees can be paid by cash, check or using a credit card on the Pay Schools system

A 10 game punch pass is available for sale. Please come in person to the the High School main office to purchase. $80.00 for Adults. $40.00 for Students. Good for any varsity game and never expires.

Senior Citizens (65 and older).

Students (1st Grade through 12th Grade).

College Students pay Adult prices.

Up to and including Kindergarten age children are free.
