In a thrilling five-set battle at Nordonia High School, the Knights girls varsity volleyball team emerged victorious against the Austintown Fitch Falcons on October 4, 2025. After dropping the first two sets (21-25, 21-25) in this regular season matchup, the Knights demonstrated resilience and tactical prowess to win the next three sets (25-20, 25-15, 15-7), securing a final score of 3-2 in favor of Nordonia.

The comeback was fueled by standout performances from key players. Addison Lefeld led the Knights with a powerful display of 18 kills and 5 aces, while Madison DuPont contributed significantly with 11 kills, 9 digs, and 3 aces. Setter Morgan Root orchestrated the floor with 34 assists, driving the team's offense throughout the match. Defensively, Rylee Kinnell and Maddy Bollas both contributed with 3 blocks, fortifying the Knights' defensive efforts.

This victory brings the Knights' current record to 14-3. The team looks forward to their next challenge against Hudson at Nordonia High School on October 7, 2025.
